# How to use the Crypto license to trade on Binance

To use the free cryptocurrency license and trade on the Binance exchange without restrictions, your account must be registered without a referral link.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If your Binance account was registered using a referral link, the free cryptocurrency license will only allow spot trading on Binance.
{% endhint %}

This restriction does not apply to non-referral accounts.

Using an account without a referral link, you will be able to trade on the Tiger.com platform without purchasing the Full license. However, by trading in the terminal, you'll be supporting the development of the terminal, as Binance will return a portion of the commission to Tiger.com in the form of brokerage fees from your trading commissions.

In case your Binance account is a referral one, you can use your Tiger.com Broker account to access the cryptocurrency license. Tiger.com Broker is an official Binance broker, registered with Tiger.com. Users of Tiger.com Broker not only have access to our free cryptocurrency license but can also trade with reduced fees. More detailed information about Tiger.com Broker can be found [here](https://broker-docs.tiger.com/english-2).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.tiger.com/english/frequently-asked-questions/how-to-use-the-crypto-license-to-trade-on-binance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
