Margin Zones

The Margin Zones indicator is intended for showing margin zones, which are based on the initial margin for the symbol, on the chart.

These margin zones are a kind of price level. They display market participants’ commitment to losing positions. Thus, they help us to identify reversal patterns and to take into account non-obvious price changes.

Margin Zone Level = (Initial Margin / Value of the Symbol’s Price Increment) * Price Increment of the Symbol

This formula calculates a full margin zone, from which other levels can then be calculated.

Indicator settings

Zone 1–5

Margin level settings.

100% zone

Configures the 100% zone, on the basis of which all other levels are calculated.

Base level

Sets the position and visualization of the base level, on the basis of which the 100% zone is set.

Symbol settings

Settings for the current symbol, on the basis of which the level corridor is set.

Other

Additional level settings.
