The trading modes can be selected through the top menu of the terminal File - Trading mode. The following modes are available:
Real
Simulator
Player
The trading mode affects which lists of accounts you'll be able to access in the Trading Panel of the Chart and DOM windows. In real mode, real accounts are available for active connections, in Simulator mode — 5 Simulator accounts, in Player mode — 5 Player accounts.
This mode is used for operating the terminal on real accounts with real money using live data. For this mode to function, it is necessary to create a connection to a crypto exchange or a terminal to receive real-time data.
In the Simulator mode, the so-called internal (demo) accounts of the Tiger.Trade terminal are used, meaning that the transactions are not made on a real account. At the same time, in order to receive live data, you must also set up connections to a crypto exchange or terminal, depending on the instrument you are going to trade on.
To set up a connection in Real and Simulator modes, 6 cryptocurrency exchanges and 7 terminals are available, which allow to trade on stock exchanges, as well as connect to DataFeed to receive real-time data on FOREX market instruments.
This mode is available in the Player and Full licenses and allows users to play historical data for any instrument available in the Tiger.Trade terminal at the desired speed and the ability to pause playback, rewind and continue playback. In the Player mode, all terminal windows work similarly to the Real and Simulator modes, the difference is that the historical data is displayed instead of real time. Therefore, users don't need to set up connections when using the Player mode. More information about the Player mode can be found at the link.
